RESIDENTIAL-TRAILER} DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE
NO . 475 , AS A~ ~~NDED

The ~3oard of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance i1TO. 475, of said

County being the zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as
4 amended, DO ORDAIN as follows:
5 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated i
~ the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is

hereby zoned as an "RT-1" (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer)
8 District and
such area shall be subject to the restrictions
9 and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and

SECTYON 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-1"
(Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District:
2.1 USES PERMITTED:
a. Single-family dwellings.
b. Mobile Homes to house one family, when such Mobile Home is the
only housing facility located on the premises, provided the
following conditions are conformed to:
i. The floor area within the mobile home shall not be less
than 500 sq. ft.
2. A11 sanitary facilities shall conform to the State Statutes
and regulations and to local requirements of the Health
Department.
3. A11 electrical installations shall conform to State
Statutes and regulations.
c. Accessory Buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
d. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry or
poisonous reptiles.
2.2 ZOT AREA REQUIRED:
Minimum lot area of a lot per swelling unit or a mobile home
unit shall be no less than eight thousand one hundred and twenty
five (8,125) sq ft excepting where public sewage disposal servic
is provided, a minimum of six thousand five hundred sq ft may
be allowed. On corner lots, the minimum area shall be seven
thousand five hundred {7,500) sq ft. ,
1 2.3 LOT i~VIDTH REQUIRED:
2 Minimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five
3 (65) ft.
4 2.4 FRQNT YARD REQUIRED:
b Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) ft from the
6centerline of the road, except where the woad is
7 classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary)
g Road the minimum building setback requirement shall
g be fifty-five (55) ft from the centerline of the
lp road.
11 2.5 SIDE YARD REQUIRED: .
12 I1~inimum side yard shall not be less than five (5)
13 ft. .
14 2.6 THE FOLI,OVJING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
15 ~ IN EACH CASE:
lg a. Golf courses and country clubs.
17 b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
18 firehouses, hospa-talc, parks and playgrounds, -
lg schools and public utility buildings.
20 SECTION 3. All uses of .land within the district not
21 specifically authorized and permitted in Sec 2 are prohibited;
22 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of the
23 zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same-.is hereby amended by adding
24 this Ordinance in full.
~ SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
26 zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided
in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the

provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance
shall be from and after its effective date become a supplement
to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 6e This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expira-
tion of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ardinance
shall be published once with the names of the members of the
Board of Supervisors voting for and against it in the
Paradise Post , a ne~raspaper published in tl~~e County of
Butte, S gate of Califor~~.i ~4.
