The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is here- by zoned as an "A-20° (Agricultural} District, for a period of 60 days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided Said area so zoned being located in the unincor}~orated area of Butte County, and snore particularly described as follows: PARCEL ONE Beginning at the SW corner of Sec 26, T20N, RIE, MDB &M, said corner being in Nelson West Rd; thence east along Nelson West Rd. to the "Townsite of Nelson" par map recorded in Map Book 1 on Page 58; thence northwesterly and northeasterly along said "Town of Nelson"~`to Midway, thence northwesterly along Midway to White-A've' -thence west along White Ave. to Durham Nelson Rd ;,,:thence north along Durham Nelson Rd. to Hanlon Rd; thence,:-west along Hanlon Rd, and the westerly prolongation of Hanlon Rd. to the north-south centerline of Sec 36, T21N, RlE, MDB&M: thence north along the north-south cen terline of Sec 36, T21N, RIE, MDB&M, to the SW corner of "R.M. SECTION 2. ~2EGULATIONS FOR AN "A-20" DISTRICT: The following regulations shall apply to an "A-20" District: 2.1 USES PERMITTED: a. Single-family dwellings, including mobile homes. b. General agriculture faraning, horticulture, commer- cial livestock, poultry production, growing and harvesting forestry products, warehousing and storage. c. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the per- mitted uses, including agricultural processing plants, d. Housing facilities (including trailers} to accomo-- date only employees and their families employ°d by the owner or operator of the premises; and pro- vided further that such housing facility shall be considered accessory to the main building and shall ~-3- 1 2 3 4, 5 6 7 8 9 10 lI 12 13 14 15 16 1'7 1$ 19 20 21 22 23 24 2°5 2B conform to the provisions pertaining to required yard and open space for dwellings. e. Mining, quarrying, commercial. excavation and caood processing plants. f. Hunting and fishing camps, including thos4 which accommodat4 recreational. vehicles and travel trail- ers providing that said recreational vehicles and travel'trailers shall not be used for year-round occupancy. 2.2 MTNTMUM LOT AREA REQUIRED; Minimum lot area shall not be less than twenty (20) acres . 2.3 FRONT YARD SETBACK: Minimum front yard setback shall be fifty (50) feet from the centerline of the road, except where the road is classified by the County as a Federal. Aid Secondary Road, the minimum building setback requir menu shall be fifty-fa.ve (55} feet from the center Line of the road. SECTION 3. All uses of sand within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in _~_ 1 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and 2 after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the 3 Zoning Enabling Ordinance. 4 SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect ~ immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fiftee: $ (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the 7 names of the -members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and $ against the same in the Chico Enterprise-Record , a news- 9 paper zn general circulation in the County of Butte, State of 10 California. The facts constituting the urgency on which this 11 Ordinance is based are: 12 1. That the area is presently under study for reaoning 13 2.
