The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State

of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, of said

County being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended, DO ORDAIN

as follows:

Ordinance No. 1438 (Amending "A-40" Agricultural)

District, Section 1 is hereby amended to include the following

located northwest of Chico, California:

Sec 24, T23N, R2W, MDB&n+l, excepting-that portion of the
g N~ of said Sec 24, located west of the west boundary
of Lots 4 & 5 of "Howard Sub" per map recorded in Book
10 9 on Page.42 of the Butte County Recorder; the Sz of
Sec 25, T23N, R2W, MDB&M; all of Sec 9, 15, l6, 17, 19,
11 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 34, 35 & 36, T23N, R1W, MDB&NI,
excepting therefrom the Townsite of Cana; the E'~ of Sec
12 $, T23N, R1W,.MDB&M; that portion of Sec 28 & 34, T23N,
R1W, MDB&M, located east of the Southern Pacific Rail-
13 road tracks; that portion of Sec 29 & 30, T23N, R1W,

Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line
of the Oroville Shasta Road; which said r~oint
bears northwesterly along the southwesterly

the intersection of said southwesterly line
with the south Line of the N~ of the NWQ of

easterly and parallel with the south line of

the point of beginning.

Five acres of land lying south of and adjoining the
B3ock I of the Village of Nord, particularly, des
cribed as commencing on the sautheasteri line of
the 20 acre tract-of the Central Pacific Railroad
...Company .{said' tract being the Vil~:age of-Nord _as.._
shown on the Map thereof recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of Butte County, California?
on the southwestern side of said railroad, at a
point a distance of 50 ft. from the centerline of
the California and Oregon Division of said Central
Pacific Railroad, and running thence southeasterly
parallel with said centerline of said Railroad 21
rods: more or less, to the corner of the fence as
it now stands; thence southwesterly at right
angles with said centerline, 44 rods, more or less,
to the line of the County Raad; thence northerly
along the line of said County Road to a poa.nt at
right angles southwesterly from the place of
beginning, and thence northeasterly by the line
of fence to the place of beginning, and being in
Sec 11, T22N, R1W, MDB&M, and containing 5 acres,
more or lass .
Containing 33 sq. miles, more or less.
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty {30) daus
after the date of its adoptian, and before the expiration of
fiftezn {15? days after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the membsrs voting for and against the same in the
Chico Enter riseTRecord , a newspaper published in the
County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 29th day of
ril - 1975 by the following vote r
