The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte DO
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 19-19(4) of the Butte County Co "e
is hereby amended to read as follows:
4. The variance granted hereunder shall be for
the term of one year. The Board of Supervisors, upon application
of the property owner and without a public hearing, may grant an
extension of such variance for periods not exceeding one year.

I In the event the applicant who is residing within the mobile
home, or the conventional residence for any reason moves to
another location. or is deceased, then in that event, the variance
granted herein automatically expires and the mobile home shall
be removed within 30 days. In the event the mobile home is not
removed within 30 days pursuant to the terms of the variance,
the County sha11 remove said mobile home and store it at the owner'
expense. The County shall require either a deposit or bond
sufficient to cover the removal expense at the time the applica-
tion for the variance is approved. The amount of such deposit
or bond shall be determined at the time of the hearing for the
variance. The request for the variance shall be signed by both
the applicant and the relative or other person to receive or
render assistance, and shall provide that Butte County is given
a right of entry on the property and the right to remove the
mobile home, and store same at the sole cost and expense of
the applicant.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
(30} days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration
of fifteen (l5) days after its passage this Ordinance sha11 be
published once ,raith the members of the Board voting for and
against it in the ~ Oroville Merc_ury_ _ a newspaper
published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of Cal. ifornia, on the 6th day of
May, 1975, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Cameron, Richter, Madigan, McKillap and ',
Chairman Ladd
