HomeMy WebLinkAbout1585ORDINANCE N0. 1585 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE BONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A "TM-2" (TIMBER MOUNTAIN} DISTRICT 1 The Board of Supervisors of the, County of Butte, State 2 0~ California, under and_pursuant,to Ordinance No. 475., as amended 3 and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN, as follows: 4 SECTION 1, The hereinafter described area situated in 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is h~re~- 8 by zoned as a "TM-2" .(Timber Mountain} District for a period of 7 180 days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and $ restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified~~.and_prQ~xided 9 Said area so zoned being lpcated at Forest Ranch,- and 10 more particularly described as follows: 11 All of Sec 5 and Sec 6, T23N, R3E, MDB&M, and all of 12 Sec 31 and Sec 32, T24N, R3E, MDB&M. 1~ Excepting therefrom; the NE a of the SE a and the 5E 4 of the NE a Of Sec 6, T23N, R3E, MDB&M. 14 Also excepting therefrom; the NWa of Sec 5, T23N, R3E, 15 MDB&M. 16 Also excepting therefrom a~.l that property on both sides of and .with in 350 ft. of the centerline of Hwv. 32 17 Also excepting therefrom Lot 2 of "Forest Ranch Unit 18 No. 1" per map recorded in Book 34 on `Pages 43 and 44 of the Butte County Recorder. 19 SECTION 2. In compliance with the provisions of said 21 Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding 22 this ordinance in full. 23 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zon- 24 ing hereby imposed within the da.strict shall be as provided i.n th 23 Zoning Enabling Ordinance . SECTION 7. This urgency orclinanc~ shalltake a ect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration 4f fifteen (15? days after its passage shall. be published grace with the namee of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Chico Ezxterprise-Record , a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are: 1. That the area is presently under study far rezoning. 2, To be more consistent with the present land use.
