W, EREAS, Wendy Powell-Terry, Social Worker, Senior of the Pepartment of Employment and Social
Services (DESS), has announced her retirement effective December 31, 2015; and
HEREAS, Wendy was employed as a Social Worker in the Children's Services Division throughout her
career, and
WHEREAS, having served as a Children's Services Social Worker in various capacities including
assignments as a Primary Social Worker, investigating Social Worker and Fa illy Assessor; Wendy has proven
to be extremely hardworking and willing to take on any assignment; and
WI ERE 1 S, Wendy has devoted her career to assuring that children were safe and families in our
community were served in a caring and professional manner; and
HEREAS, Wendy has worked diligently for the past twenty three years and one month in the best
interest of Butte County and its citizens, earning the respect of her supervisors, her peers, and the many families
she served over the years; and

OW, THE-EFeRE, BE IT RESOLVE* that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens
of I.utte County, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
