HomeMy WebLinkAbout1603ORDINANCE NO. 1603 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE 1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "S-2" (SUBURBAN) DISTRICT 2 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, torte 3 _ _ _ . _... _.. ~ _._ of Califvrnia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended 4 and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN, as follows: S SECTION 1. The hereinafter descrrbed area situated in 6 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is ~ 7 hereby zoned as a "Sw2" {Suburban)- District fora period of 120 S days, and such area sha~.l be subject to the restrictions and re- 9 strictad uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. 10 Said area so zoned being located northwest of Chico, 11 more particularly described as: 12 All of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 of °Cussick Tract" per 13. map of record in Map Baok i on Page 48 of the Butte County Recorder. 14 Containing 64 acres, more or-less. 15 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "S-2" DISTRICT: 16 . . The following regulations shall apply in a "S-2" 17 (Suburban) District: 18 2.1 USES PERMITTED: 19 20 a. Single-family dwellings, nat including tents or mobile homes. 21 22 b. Accessory buildings pertinent to t'rte permitted area . 23 24 2.2 AGRICULTURAL USES, EXCEPT LIVESTOCK SUBJECT TO 2~ THE FOLLOG~]ING REQUIREMENTS 26 a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year o -1- /CaD3 1 age, eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,125) 2 sq. ft. g b. Sn compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 6. The penalties for the violation of the zona.ng hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabbing Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 7. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, and befare~~.the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its~_:passage, shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Chico Enterprise-Record , a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of Californi . The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are: 1. To be more consistent with the present land use.
