',%',,,),'(':141n,f1V,I!,'"),),Hp,#)Inle,,e1/1 if l'1,11:*, 11*1141):111,:r*,:,,;*/*AlttkA79/41 ri0140r,r;;1,4, i'r'') (500A )W Ir'1,4f,f,Velit4,tAly ,', /e/'''/'/4,t10,4/,' ilfr'1;`,/,a54%, %)6q1/,Z1/Krf'/'('ItARKP;01/ ;');, 111/4/AP ow ;1 A lie ,iii# ti(/4'in Resolution No. 16-138 RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING OCTOBER 2016 AS DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS MONTH WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognizes and appreciates the contributions made by persons with disabilities to the Butte County work force, and to the residents of Butte County; and WHE'l"EAS, the year 2016 marks the 26th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, a landmark civil rights legislation that provides for equal access to the terms, conditions and privileges of employment for persons with disabilities, and prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisor recognizes that the unemployment rate among persons with disabilities is several times that of the population in general; and WHEREAS, the United States Congress has designated the month of October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is dedicated to equal employment opportunity for all people, including persons with disabilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of Butte County, proclaims the month of October 2016 as Disability Employment Awareness Month.
