AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1497 ZONING
A PORTION OF THE COUNTY 0~' BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFO~ZNIA, A "TM-40" (TIMBER-MOUNTAIN) DISTRICT.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said
County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended, DO ORDAIN
a s follows
Ordinance No. 1497 (Amending "TM--40" Timber Mountain)
District, Section 1 is hereby amended to include the following
located in the northeastern portion of Butte County:
T23N, ROE, MDB&M: The NE4 of the NW4 and the NEa of the
SW4 of Sec 13, the Sz of the SW4 of Sec 24, the NWa of
the NW a Of Sec 2 5 , the NE4 and the N'~ of the SE4 of
Sec 26, the SEa of the SE4 of Sec 29, the NEa of the
NEa of Sec 32 and the NWT of the NW4 of Sec 33.
T23N, R5E, MDB&M: The NE4 of Sec 18 and the NW4 of
the NW4 of Sec 30.
T24N, R3E, MDB&M: The SE4 of Sec 4, a portion of the
NEa of the SW4 of Sec 24, T24N, R3E, MDB&M, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a 2 inch iron pipe marking the recog-
nized SW corner of the said NE4 of the SW4 of Sec
24 of said T24N, R3E and running thence north
193:5 ft: along the north and south centerline of
said SW4 of said Sec 24 to an iron pipe; thence
northerly and easterly para11e1 to and 100.0 ft.
northerly from the center of the Poweiiton Rd.,
the following seven courses and distances: N 57°
32' E, 70.40 ft. to an iron pipe;;N 410 44' E,

SE4 of Sec 20, the NW4 of the NE4, the N2 of the NW4
of Sec 29, and the NE4 of the NFL of Sec 30.
All containing 2,493 acres.
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen {15) days after-its passage, it ,shall be published with
the names of the members voting for and against the ,same in the

County of Butte, State of Calif°rnia.
