BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, "AR-MH3'~ (AGRTCUhTURAL-
RESTDENTIAL MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCE N0. 475.

The, Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursiian:t to drdxnance No. 475 o sal
County being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby zoned as an "AR-MH3" (Agricultural-Residential Mobile
Home) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrict-
ions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified
and provided. Said area sa zoned being located in the
unincorporated area of Butte County northwest of Chico, more
particularly described as:
Property located on the NW corner of Holler Road
and Nord Hwy. mare particularly described as being
lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, and 18 of 'xHasler
Tract" per map of record in map book 7 on page 6
of the Butte County Recorder, containing 80 acres,
snore or less.
SECTION 2a REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MK3" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "AR-MH3"
(Agricultural-Residential Mobile Home.) District:
2.l USES PERMITTED:
a. Single-family dwellings
ba Mobile Homes - to house one family, when such
Mobile Home is the only housing facility located
on the premises, provided the following conditions
are conformed to:
1. The gross area of the Mobile Home shall not

be 1e,ss than 500 square feet.
20 All sanitary facilities shall conform to

3. All electrical installations sha11 conform
to State Statutes and regulations as
administered by the Building Division of
the Butte County Public Works Departmento
c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted
uses.
d. Agricultural urea.
e. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows:
i. For each horse or head of cattle over one
{1} year of age -eight thousand one hundred
twenty-five (8,125) square feet.
2. For each head of swine oveir ten {10) weeks
of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-
five (8,125) square feet.
3. For each head of sheep or goats -two
thousand {2,000) square feet.
2.2 THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
a. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted would
permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro -
shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,

Y firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
2 schools and public utility buildings.

3 c. Livestock farming.
4 d. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
5 e. Nurseries and plant gardens.
6 2.3 LOT AREA REQUIRED:
7 Minimum required area of a lot per dwelling unit
8 shah. be not less than three (3) acres.
9 2.4 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED.
i0 Minimum lot width shall be not less than one
11 hundred thirty {130) feet.
1~ 2.5 FRONT YARD REQUIRED:
13 Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) 'feet from
14 the centerline of the road, except where the road
15 is classified by the County as a Federal Aid
16 Secondary Road, the minimum building setback
17 requirements shall. be fifty five {55) feet from
18 the centerline of the road.
19 SECTION 3. All uses of Land within the district not
20 specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2. are prohibited,
21 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of the
22 Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
23 this Ordinance in full.
24 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
~ zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
2B the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions

1 of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall be from
2 and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of

4 5ECTTON 6. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
5 declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
6 (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expxr-
7 ation of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance
8 shall be published once with the names of the members of the
9 Board of Supervisors voting far and against it in the _~~~

11 of Butte, State of California o
12 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
13 County of Butte, State of California, this ~.~?3rd ~~, day of

15 AYES; Supervisors Camerae, Richter, Madigan, McKillop and Chairman Ladd
