RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY (LGA) COODINATOR FROM THE
PROBATION DEPARTMENT TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE LGA FOR ACTIVITIES RELATED TO
PROVIDING COUNTY-BASED MEDI-CAL ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE.
WHEREAS, On June 28, 2016 the Board of Supervisors approved a resolution that the Probation
Department will serve in the capacity as the Local Government Agency (LGA) for the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, on November 8, 2016 the Butte County Board of Supervisors on behalf of the Probation
Department executed an agreement with the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) for the provision of
County-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (CMAA); and
WHEREAS, DHCS requires a resolution approving the agreement and delegating signature authority to
the LGA coordinator from the Probation Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the LGA Coordinator from the Probation Department or
Designee is authorized on behalf of the Butte County Board of Supervisors to execute documents on behalf of
the LGA for activities related to providing CMAA services in the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 6th
day of December, 2016, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Wahl, Kirk, Lambert, Teeter and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
