AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 945 ZONING
A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, AN "M-1" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL} :DISTRICT.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of .said
County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended, DO
ORDAIN a s follows
Ordinance No. 945 (Amending 'xMWI" Light Industrial)
District, Section 1 is hereby amended to include the following,
located Northwest of Chico.
A portion of the S 2 of the SE ~ of Sec. 5, T22N,
R1E, MDB&M, and lying northerly of Mud Creek,
easterly of Shasta Road {.99E) and westerly of the
California State Highway Freeway right of way and
being more particularly described as follows:
Be~inning at a point on the northerly line of said
S a of the SE ~ of said Sec. 5 on the westerly line
of said Highway right of way at a paint distant
southwesterly 95.0 ft. measured at right angles from
Engineer's Station '~D2" 258±91.27 described as the
point of beginning in that certain Deed from
Jefferson L. Garner and Urania M. Garner, husband
and wif e, to Anne Lynde and Albert Lynde, Jro, wif e
and husband as recorded October 3, 1963, in Volume
1273, at page 336, Official Records of Butte County,
California; .thence from said point of beginning and
along said Highway right of way southeasterly on the
arc of a 6095.0 foot radius curve to the left through
an angle of 6° 22' 05" an arc distance of 677.42 ft,
(the chord of said arc bears 5 40° 34' 32" E, 677.07
ft) to a point 95.0 f t. distant southwesterly measured
at right angles from Eng ineer' s S~~:fii&~,~-'~`D21 '~252:t24.:41: of
Freeway; thence S 43° 45' 34" E, 255.58 ft, along said
Freeway right of way to a point on the northerly right
of way line of the Sacramento and San Joaquin Drainage
District as described as Parcel 'ti180'~ in that certain
right of way agreement document from Jay M, Garner
et ux and et al on page 497 of pages 474 thru 534,
as recorded February 11, 1963, in Volume 1226, Official
Records of Butte County, thence along said line S 20°

beginning.
7 That certain strip of land conveyed by Jesse Lee
8 Triplett et ux to Jay M. Garner et ux by Deed recorded
November l0, 19fi4, in Book 1345, of Official Records,
9 at page 68, containing 15 acres, more or less.
~~ That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty {30) days
11 after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
12 fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with
13 the names of the members voting for and against the same in the
14 Chico Enterprise-Record_,____~ ~, a newspaper published in the
15 County of Butte, State of California.
