ORDINANCE NO. 1645
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR CIVIL SERVICES
RENDERED BY THE DISTRIGT ATTORNEY
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte does
ordain as follows:
The Butte County Code is hereby amended by adding thereto
Chapter ~O, reading as follows:
Chapter 30. Fees for Givil Services Rendered by the District
Attorney.
Section 30-1. Establishment
The District Attorney is authorized to assess service
fees as specified in section 30-2, attorney fees as specified in
section 30-~ and court fees as specified in section 30-~, for
alI services rendered in civil proceedings to obtain or enforce
orders for child or spousal support, to establish paternity or
obtain medical care for children or parents, in any action where
the District Attorney is authorized to seek such in behalf of
the county, the child or the parent.
Section 30-2. Service Fees
Support orders paid through the Butte County Family
Trust Fund shall have added to each support payment a fee of 2p.
Section ~O-~. Attorney Fees
A reasonable attorney fee shall be requested whenever
permitted by law. Such fee sought will be an amount equal to that
already provided by statute or rules of court, or 5~ of the amount
of a support order, or will be based on an hourly rate of X50,

whichever is less.
Section ~O-~+. Court Fees
The District Attorney shall seek reimbursement of court
costs {fili.ng fee} from each support ob.li.gor.
Section 30-5. Payment of Fees
Fees provided by sections 30-2 and 30-3 shall be trans-
(erred to the general fund of the county. Fees provided by
seCtio71 30-1+ shall be transferred to the County Clerk.
This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after
the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published with the names
of the members voting for and against the sarr:e in the Oraville
Mercury, a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.

County of Butte, State of California, on the 25th day of
November , 1975, by the following vote:
