'?'hrouah clerical error thQ description of the aroperty that the Board of Supervisors intended to interim zone is in error. The description of the lands that were intended to be a.ncluded within Ordinance 1641 ? s set forth below and Ordinance 1641 is hereby amended by del~tinq the descri ption of the nrotaerty affected (.herein and is to read as follows Sa~.d area so zcned being located northwest of Chico, more narti cularly described as follows Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 1 of "Evans Tract" per map of record in Mazy Book 3 on Page 5'7 of the Butte County Recorder thence southwesterly along the northwesterly boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, of said "Evans Tract" and con- tinuing southwesterly along the northwesterly boundary of Lot 13 of "Bay Tract No, 1" per map of record in Map Book 1 on Page 18 to the enter-- line of Bay Ave; thence northwesterl~~ along the centerline of Bay Ave , to its intersection w~,th the south line of Sec 8, T22N, R1E, MDB&?`4; thence west on said south 1Rne of Sec 8 to the SW corner of said Sec 8; thence south along the section Iine common to Sec 17 and 18; T22N, RlE, MDB&M, to Bell Road; thence westerly along Bell Rd. to .~~Iud Creek; thence meandering northeasterly along Mud Creek to the west right-~of-way line of Esplanade; thence southeasterly along said right-of waV line to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom all that property located within 660 ft. of East Avenue. Containing 8SQ acres, more or less. SECTION 2. This is an urgency ordinance and shall take effect immediately upon ~.ts passage , and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Sup?rvisors voting for and agaWnst the same in the Chico Enterprise Pecord, a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California. The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are: 1. Th rough clerical error the area covered by Ordinance 1641 is not the area intended by the Board of. Supervisors . The Board of 5uparvisors were under the impression when they adopted Ord~.nance 1641 that the dsscriptzon of the lands covered is as per the d©scripti on in this amending ordi nanca . In that Ordinance 1641 is an urgency ordinance and took effect immediately it is mandatory that this ordinance also take effect immediately for the protection of the health and welfare of the people of the County of Butte.
