Glenn/Colusa County Resource Advisory Committee to meet August 29
WILLOWS,Calif.; August 17,2016—For Immediate Release—The Glenn/Colusa County
Resource Advisory Committee (RAC)will meet in the Snow Mountain Conference Room at the
Mendocino National Forest office on Monday, August 29 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Project presentations
will be made to the committee members and a general discussion will follow.Proposed RAC projects must
have a benefit to National Forest lands or resources. Possible projects could include fuel treatments in critical
areas to reduce wildfire danger,planting trees along streams to improve water quality,road and trail
maintenance, fish and wildlife habitat improvement, or recreation and environmental education.
For information regarding RAC membership,please contact the Designated Federal Official, District
Ranger Eduardo Olmedo at 530-934-1250. Individuals may obtain interest forms for RAC membership from
the Forest Service. For more information, contact the Forest Service coordinator for the Glenn/Colusa County
