ORDINANCE N0. 16$4 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A N "A-5" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT ~, The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State 2 of Calif.o.rnia, under. and.. pursuant to .Ordinance _ No. 475, _as amen. ded,. 3 and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN, as follows 4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is B herQby zoned as an "A-5`Y (Agricultural) District for a per~.od of 7 120 days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and 8 restricted us?s and regulations hereinafter specified and 9 provided. 10 Saxd araa so zoned being located around thQ Oroville 11 Airport, more part~.cularly described as follows: 1~ Bounded by State Highway 162 (Oro Dam Boulevard West} on the south, l8th Aveo on the east, Grand 13 Ave. on the north, and being the west line of Se.c 15 on the west; located in Sec 14 and 15, i4 T19N, R3~, MDB&M. 15 Excepting therefrom: Blocks 126 & 131, as shown on that certain Map entitled, "Map of Thermalito, 1B ~ Butte County, Calo", which Map was filed for record on June 8, 18$7 in the Office of the 3.7 Recorder of the County of Butte, State of Calif- ornia. 18 19 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "A-5" DISTRICT: 20 The following r~±gulations shall apply in an "A-rJrr ~~- District 22 2.1 USES PERMITTED: 23 a. Single-family dwellings. 24 b. Mobile homes to house one family when such mobile home is the only housing facility located on the premises:;: provided the following conditions are conformed to: 1. The floor ar~±a within the mobile home shall not be less than five hundred (500) sqo .feet. 2. The parcel of land conforms to Section 203 (Minimum lot area of 5 acres), or is a smaller parcel of land lawfully creatQd prior to the enactment of this Ordinance, subject to written approval by thA Director of Planning. 2.2 THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO 'SECURING A USE PERi~lIT TN EACH CASE: a . SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and pArmitted.are prohibited. SECTION 4. This urgency ordinance shall takes effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall bA published once with the names of the members of the Board of Sup©rvisors voting for and against the same in the orovz3.~.e ~xcurv-Register, a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California. !,The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is Ibased are: 1. To protect the health and safety of the public. 2.
