AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1284 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS-THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte,
State of California, DO ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 that Section No. 32 of Ordinance No. 1284
of the County of Butte entitled SHERIFF--CORONER 35D-001 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
34 Deputy Sheriff I/II
2 Resident Deputy Sheriff
and adding thereto the following:
35 Deputy Sheriff I/II
1 Resident Deputy Sheriff
Section 2 that Section Na. 36 of Ordinance No. 1284
of the County of Butte entitled CHICO MARSHAL 362--000 is hereby
.amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Stenographer Clerk II
and adding thereto the following:
1 Typist Clerk Iz I
Section 3 that Section No. 40 of Ordinance No. 12$4
of the County of Butte entitled JUVENILE HALL 420-000 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:

5 Group Supervisor
and adding thereto the following:

Section ~4 that Section No. 61 of Ordinance No. 1284
of the County of Butte entitled PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT 640--002
is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:

1 Stenographer Clerk II
and adding thereto the following:
6 Group Supervisor
This ordinance shall take effect on April 3, 1976
which is beyond 30 days after the date of its adoption, and
before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage,
it sha11 be published in a newspaper published in the County
of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, this 2nd day of March 1976
