AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1353 ZONING A
PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
A "P-Q" (PUBLIC-QUASI) DISTRICT
Thy Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, of said
County, being the 2on~:ng Enabling Ordinance as amended, DO
ORDAIN as follows:
Ordinance No. 1351 (Amending "P--Q" Public--Quasi)
District, Section 1 is hereby amended to include the following,
located in Ther~alito.
That portion of the following described parcel located
.east of the Thermalito Forebay:
A portion of that certain parcel of land described
in the deed to Ernest P. and Ruth L. Combs, dated
February 15, 1960, and recorded February 24, 1960,
in Book 1044, Official Records, at page 416, Records
of Butte County, California. Said portion being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Lot 8 of Block 132 , of
Thermalito, according to the Official Map thereof,.
recorded June 8, 1'887, in the office of the Recorder
of Butte County, said NW corner being a point S.n the
south line of Lot 58 of the OrovillewWy andotte Fruit-
lands Unit No. 1, recorded March 7, 1927, in Book
11 of Maps, at page l6, records of Butte County,
from which the W~ corner of Section 1, T19N, R3E,
MDB &M, bears N 020 3 3' 43" W, 1, 312 .0 7 ft; thence
from said point of beginning along the north line
of said Slock 132 N 89034' 04" E, 661.64 ft; thence
leaving said N arth line S 72° 46' S0" W, 78.10 ft;
thence S 440 34' 17" W, 283,56 ft; thence S 210
28' 00" W, 866,22 fti thence S 89° 48' 57" W, "48.59
ft. to .the west line of said Block 132, thence along
said west line N Ol° 15' 07" W, 1,026.66 ft. to the
point of beginning.

Fruitlands"'Unit 1" per map of record in Book ll
on Page 16 of the Butte County Recorder.

located south of the Thermalito Forebay and west

Block 132 of "Therrnalito" per- map of Record, Wall
Map numbers 4 and 6 of the Butte County Recorder.
A parcel of land 30 ft. in width lying adjacent to and
easterly of Lot 1 of Block 132 of "Thermalito" per
map of record, Wall Map numbers 4 and 6 of the Butte
Caunty Recorder.
A portion of the SEA of Sec 1, T19N, R3E, MDB&M, I!
and being more part~.cularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Nelson
Avenue (80 feet wide} as shown on that certain Map
of Thermal~;to, recorded June 8, 1887 in the Office
of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of
California, said point bung also a point in the
southerly prolongation of the west line of Lot
58, according to the Official Map of Oroville-
Wyandotte Fruitlands Unit No. i, recorded March
7, 1927 in Book 11 of Maps, at page 16, said southerly
prolongation being a line 30 feet westerly of and
parallel with the west line of Lot 8, Block 132,
of said Thermalitp, also from said point of beginning
the west quarter corner of said Sec 1 bears N 00 23'
E, 2610.96 ft. distant; thence along said Nelson
Ave. centerline 5 880 38' E, 835.31 ft. to its
intersection with the centerline of Twelfth St.,

of beginning of the herein described parcel, thence
along the west and north line of said School parcel,
N l° 27' E, 840 ft. and S 880 30' E, 720. ft. to the
NE corner of said School parcel; thence continuing
S 880 30' E, 30 ft. to a point in the centerline of
that certain easement as<. contained ~.n Deed from
Thermalito Irrigation District, to County of Butte,
dated December 13, ~ 1954 and recorded February 2 , 1.955
in Book 288 of Butte County Official Records, at
page 350; said point also being on the westerly line

Thermalito Union School District dated November 9,
1957 and recorded December 20, 1,957 in Book 914 of
Butte" County Official Re cards , at "page 378 ; thence
N. 1° ~2.7' E "453.77 ft. a3~ong the west line of last -
mentioned School parcel, and being along the- center-
line of said road easement to the north line of the
S~ of the SEQ of said Sec l; thence easterly along
the north line of said SEA of the SEA of said Sec
1, a distance of 295 feet; thence S 10 27' W, to a
point distant N 1° 27' E, 411.9 ft, from the south
line of the SEA of said Sec 1; thence N 880 30' W,
295 ft; thence S 10 27' W, 41.1.9 ft. to the center-
line of Nelson Ave.; thence N 880 30' W, 750 ft, to the
true point of beginning.
Containing 77 acres, more or less.
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty ( 30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days ~ after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the members voting for .and against the same in the
