Resolution No. 17-001
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF BUTTE'S AUTHORIZED AGENTS FOR
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS,the Butte County Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the Butte County Operational Area;
and
WHEREAS,the Butte County Board of Supervisors is required to identify Authorized Agents to engage with the
Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services regarding grants alpplied for
by the County and the Operational Area.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the Chief Administrative
Officer, Deputy Administrative Officers, or the Emergency Services Officer are hereby authorized to execute for and on
behalf of the County of Butte„ a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, this application and to
file it with the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial
assistance under Public Law 913-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act
of 1988,and/or state financial assistance under the California Disaster Assistance Act; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Butte, a public entity established under the laws of the State of
California, hereby authorizes its agent(s)to provide to the Governor's Office of Emergency Services the assurances and
agreements required for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this is a universal resolution and is effective for all open and future disasters up
to three ( )years following the date of approval below,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 10h day of January, 2017 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisor Wahl, Kirk, Lambert, Teeter and Chair Connelly

NOT VOTING: None
