RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING
TO VACATE UNNECESSARY PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY IN THE WESTERN PACIFIC ADDITION TO OROVILLE
WHEREAS,this Board has receiveda request for vacation of a portion of public rights of way as described below,
and
WHEREAS,the Planning Commission has considered this vacation, and found the request consistent with the
Butte County General Plan,and
WHEREAS,this Board desires to initiate a proceeding to vacate a portion of a public right of way as described in
the attached Exhibit A and shown on the attached Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 91 of California Streets and Highways Code (commencing
with Section 8320)this Board shall set a date, hour and place for a hearing on the request for vacation.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on February 14, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville California, a hearing shall be
held to hear all persons interested in the vacation of that certain portion of public rights of way in the Western
Pacific Addition to Oroville, The alleys to be vacated are as follows:
The portion of the alley between Reicker Ave, and Gray Ave., now Incline Ave., east of the common
westerly boundary of Lots 7 and 14 in Block 56 of the Western Pacific Addition to Oroville.
2. That a map showing the public right of way to be vacated is on file in the Office of the Butte County Department
of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965.
1 That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends to vacate said public rights of way.
4, That this vacation proceeding is being conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California
Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320).
5. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of
the California Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 10th day of January, 2017 by the following
vote:

Maps at Page 16, more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of the 20 feet wide alley in Block 56 of said Western Pacific Addition to
Oroville niap lying between the northerly prolongation of the westerly fine of Lot 14 and the
