WHEREAS,the Chief Administrative Officer did proclaim the existence of a local emergency within Butte County on the 13th day of February, 2017 relating to the conditions caused by the Oroville Spillway Incident, and the Board of Supervisors did ratify the action of said Chief Administrative Officer on the 17th day of February, 2017. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the Proclamation of Existence of a Local Emergency with respect to the existence of the Oroville Spillway Incident shall be deemed to continue to exist until its termination; and NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that during the existence of said local emergencies the powers,functions, and duties of the emergency organization of this County shall be those prescribed by state law, by charter, ordinances, and resolutions of this County, and by the County of Butte Emergency Plan.
