Rr„ /„ /r, / / // , , r. / ,/ r ,r // ,i ':.r �, r / l ,�.rr,,.,/ ✓�, r ' Il/ r, �_„ r � r / r / / r ✓ r � // Resolution No. 17-1992 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR.SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR COUNTY ADMINISTRATION; COUNTY-WIDE FEES; CLERK-RECORDER; DISTRICT ATTORNEY INFORMATION SYSTEMS LIBRARY; PROBATION; PUBLIC HEALTH GENERAL, ANIMAL CONTROL, CLINIC,AND LABORATORY;SHERIFF;AND TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution on March 24, 2009 and has amended the Fee Schedule overtime, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Constitution and the lavas of the State of California, the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such service; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte recently concluded a comprehensive study of the costs of providing various government services entitled, "Cost Recovery Study Report of Findings” prepared by MGT Consulting Group, dated May 2017; and WHEREAS, the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency of the fee process; and WHEREAS,the fee revisions were based on the cost of service projections for fiscal year 2016-17 and are directly related to the cost necessary to provide each service; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this Resolution to allow consideration of the proposed fee adjustments prior to adoption of this Resolution; and. WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to adjust current fees and implement new fees for various government services provided by the County of Butte as set forth in the above mentioned study..
