Home My WebLink About17-094 l r r V r f r r �//a r �!,,., / :; ,,,' r ;, „c; 9 /./�r� /r. , r✓, ,,,. .,,. „rr., r , ,, ,,,,,, ,r, I/ c,. „ ,. ,. ,, ,; ,//„�,G./ r //r%i�/.. �1 i%, / / ,. . r 1�r , r,. ,.ir: ,;, ,r r� / ✓, / // / ! / ,. r ,,,, is/, /., // Resolution No. 17-094 11-y' RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution on March 24, 2009 and has amended the Fee Schedule over time,, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Constitution and the laws of the State of California,the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such service; and WHEREAS,the County of Butte recently concluded a comprehensive study of the costs of providing various government services entitled, "Cost Recovery Study Report of Findings" prepared by MCT Consulting Group, dated May 2017; and WHEREAS,the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency,and transparency of the fee process; and WHEREAS, the fee revisions were based on the cost of service projections for fiscal year 2016-17 and are directly related to the cost necessary to provide each service; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this Resolution to allow consideration of the proposed fee adjustments prior to adoption of this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to adjust current fees and implement new fees for various government services provided by the County of Butte as set forth in the above mentioned study. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte adopts fees as delineated in Exhibit A and amends the Butte County Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED all fee adjustments shall become effective September 1, 2017.
