RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE REVOLVING FUND FOR THE
OFFICE OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER, DIVISION OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
WHEREAS, in 1979 the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte determined that for the efficient operation
of the Office of Agricultural Commissioner, Division of Weights and Measures as required under Business and
Professions Code, Sections 120,01 et seq, the Revolving Fundwas necessary; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 29320 et seq. provides for the establishment of such revolving
funds in amounts to be determined by the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS,the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte adopted Resolution No. 79-166 on August 14, 1979,
establishing a Weights and Measures Revolving Fund at an amount of$300; and
WHEREAS, an analysis of the Revolving Fund by the (Butte County Auditor-Controller's Office has determined
that the fund is no longer needed for County business.
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,State of California, as
follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the termination of the Weights and Measures Revolving Fund.
2. That this Fund is established and discontinued in accordance with Section 29320 et seq. of the Government
Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County
Auditor-Controller and County Treasurer-Tax Collector.
3. That the Agricultural Commissioner is hereby authorized and directed to deposit cash from the Weights and
Measures Revolving Fund into the County General Fund in the amount of$300 for the purpose of
terminating the Weights and Measures Revolving Fund.

vote:
AYES:Supervisors Wahl, Kirk, Lambert,Teeter, and Chair Connelly
