Resolution No, 17-122
RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF PATRICIA NELSON UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND,SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson, Employment and Eligibility Specialist with the Department of Employment and Social
Services(DESS), has announced her retirement effective July 14, 20,17; and
WHEREAS, Patricia began her career with the County of Butte on January 13, 1397, as an Office Assistant III, She
transferred to Eligibility Technician II on December 7, 2002 and successfully moved up the career ladder to her current
responsible position as an Employment and Eligibility Specialist since August 4, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Patricia has devoted her career to assuring that individuals and families in our community were
served in a caring and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, Patricia has worked diligently for the past 2.0 years and six months in the best interest of Butte
County and its citizens, earning the respect and confidence of her supervisors, her peers, and the many community
members she served over the years..
NO'U'U', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors, on its own behalf and on behalf of the
citizens of Butte County, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 8th day of August, 2017, by the following
vote:
