Resolution No. 17-126
RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF DARLA M. KNUDSEN UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY CHILLI SUPPORT SERVICES
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen, Supervisor, Child Support Specialist of the Butte County Department of Child
Support Services, has announced her retirement effective August 5, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen has worked her entire career serving the families and children of Butte County
through her work in the Child Support program; and
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen started her career with the District Attorney-Family Support. Division on April 28,
1990 and assisted with the transition of the program to the Department of Child Support Services in July of 2001; and
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen has held seven(7)titles during her tenure with the Child Support program including
Typist Clerk I, Typist Clerk 11, Account Clerk, Senior Account Clerk, Auditor-Accountant I, Supervising Family Support Case
Manager, and Supervisor-Child Support Specialist; and
WHEREAS,Dara M. Knudsen has been a hardworking,devoted and conscientious employee for twenty-seven(27)
years; and
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen as a leader and mentor has successfully supervised many Butte County employees,
sharing life skills and assisting them to advance to higher levels of classification or performance; and
WHEREAS, Darla M. Knudsen has diligently and ethically worked in the best interest of Butte County, earning the
respect and confidence of her fellow employees, peers, and the many families she served throughout the years.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby wish to express to Darla
M. Knudsen sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further,wish her well
on her retirement.
