',(i,r/ f//„ii/ii 1, ,l 1� y i,�� / U;i ✓, �1, i r. /r� ,,i/ �� i/i�lr/�.,1./��r��,/ 1, �r. ��- t�N ,, A;� � �/�� ;y.. / ;, fl „ ., � ,� rl. l ��/, ,. , ✓, � / ,/ ,,r,,,��ri,�/i/�� l t i 1 .i l l � � , 1, /. /, ✓ r ,� �/��//1/rfr, ,,, .,,,✓, ,,,, , , 1,/,,ii�i,� ,,//,/„crlf,,�//i�/i/f/��l�iii///�i , i /// /%� 1 ��, i� �/ i�, // Resolution No. 17-134 RESOLUTION!ADJUSTING P'ARADI'SE BRANCH LIBRARY HOURS AND HOLIDAY CLOSURES FOR THE BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2.71 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, specify those hours during which individual departments will be open to the public; and WHERE'AS, Paradise branch library hours need to be adjusted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in order to best serve the community; and WHEREAS, the open days and hours at the Biggs, Durham, Gridley, and Oroville branch libraries will remain unchanged; and WHEREAS,the Chico Branch Library hours are specified in a separate resolution; and WHEREAS, current Board policy, established in Resolution 16-139, provides that "all branches normally closed on Mondays will observe Monday holidays on the preceding Saturday and all branches will close at 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving;” and "WHEREAS, Christmas Day falls on a Monday iin 2017 and New Year's Day falls on a Monday in 2018; and the Library would therefore be closed on Saturday December 23rd and December 30th, 2017; and, based on past experience, the Library would serve very few customers on Sunday December 24th and December 3V, 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all Butte County Library branches will be closed on December 23-24, 2017, and December 30-31, 2017; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the Library branch hours in Biggs, Durham, Gridley, Oroville, and Paradise are as follows, effective September 5, 2017 BBii, s Branch Oroville Branch Tuesday noon—6 pm Tuesday 10 am—6 pm Saturday 10 am—4 pm Wednesday 10 am—6 pm Thursday 10,am—5 pm Durham Branch Friday 10 am—5 pm Tuesday noon—6 pm Saturday 10 am—5 pm Wednesday noon—6 pm Sunday 1 pm—5pm Thursday 10 am—4 pm Friday 10 am—4 pm Paradise Branch Saturday 10 am—4 pm Tuesday 10 am—6 pm Wednesday 10 am—6 pm Gridley Branch Thursday 10 am—5 pm Tuesday noon—6 pm Friday 10 am—5 pm.
