Resolution No. 1.7-164
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR COUNTY OF BUTTE
FOR FISCAL YEAR 20017-2018
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS,Article?Cllr-B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must establish annual
appropriation limits pursuant to said Article; and
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9,of the Government Code, provides that the governing body of each local
jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled
meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County appropriations limit for fiscal year 2017-
2018 to be $191,424,219.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for Butte County is established to be
$191,424,219 for fiscal year 2017-2018, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in compliance
with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California, this 10ll day of
October, 2017, by the following vote:
