HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-166 r.r 1 r r r r r l ! lin f r l r ,,�„��l��C✓rl �f�ai,,r�, , ,z,..%.c,,,f//!a. , ,. /r/' ./ I r� / .2 /,��/�./�l�/r�%;,✓fry.,.�,,�/Ili��f� /dll./i����l�nlUe����l��il�,��,�4 I Resolution No, 17-166 RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF MARX RUDOLPH', ELECTIONS DIVISON MANAGER FOR THE COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER/REGISTRAR OF VOTERS, UPON RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY WHEREAS, Mary Rudolph, Elections Division Manager, for the County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters has announced her retirement from the County, effective October 6, 2017; and WHEREAS,Mary began her career with the County of Butte as an extra help Seasonal Election Worker on June 29, 1996,hired to full time Elections Technician position on July 13, 1996,advanced to Elections Division Senior Deputy County Clerk on July 12, 1997, and on July 24, 2010 promoted to her current position as Elections Division Manager; and WHEREAS, Mary participated in the planning and administration of operations for the Elections Division and supervised the daily activities by faithfully leading the team to accomplish the department's goals, provided excellent technical, management and administrative skills,strong customer service,and thorough planning of voter registration and election services operations; and WHEREAS, Mary as a leader and mentor has supervised and trained many Butte County employees, over 14,500 poll workers, and countless number of extra help seasonal staff, through federal, state, and local elections, processing immeasurable number of voter registration cards and notices to voters, and processed countless numbers of initiative, referendum and recall petitions; and WHEREAS, Mary worked diligently for over twenty-one years in the best interest of Butte County and it's citizens, earning the respect and confidence of her fellow employees, poll workers, and many county, state, and community partners. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby wish to express to Mary Rudolph, sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further, wish her well on her retirement.
