The Board of Supervisors of the County of ?3utte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, of said ;aunty being
the .~+~nabli ng Ordinance, NO ORDAIN as follows
S~'CTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in the

I County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as
an "AR-h~H" (Agricultural Residential-I;lIobile Home} District, and such area
;shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations
(hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned bein.; located in
the unincorporated area of Butte County, south of Oroville, more
particularly described as:
The northerly 327 ft. of Lot 3 of Block 16 of "Villa
Verona Sub" per ~trall dap No. l2 of the Butte County
Recorder. Excepting therefrom the westerly 100 ft.
of the northerly 296.6Q. ft. of said Lot 3.
Containing 1.& acres, more or less, identified as
AP 36-073-35, Oroville.
SECTION 2. R~i~~GULATIONS F4R AN "AR ~" DISTRICT:
The followix~ regulations shall apply in an AR~tJiH" {_n~gricultural
Residential Mobile Home} District:

a• Single-family dwellings.
b. ~'~obile Homes -- to one family, when such iVIobile Home is
the only housing facility located on the premises, provided
the following conditions are conformed to:
1. The gross area of the Mobile Home shall not be Less than
500 square feet.
2. .!~l.l sanitary facilities shall conform to Statutes and
regulations and to local requirements of the Butte County

Health Department.
2 3. All electrical installations skzall conform to State Statutes
3 and regulations as administered by the Building Division of
4' the Butte County Public 1'Forks Department.
b c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
B d. Agricultural uses.
? s. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows:
8' 1. Minimum lot area to be devoted to residential uses shall be
9 not less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty-five
10 (8,125} square feet.
11 2• Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential uses the
12 following lot or parcel areas shall be required for each
13 animal raised or kept on the premises:
14 a} For each horse or head of cattle over one (l} year of age -
1~ eight thousand, one hundred twenty-five (8,125} square feet.
16 b~} For each bead of swine over ten (l 0} weeks of age -- eight
17 thousand one hundred twenty=five (8,125} square feet.
18 c} For each head of sheep or goats - two thousand (2,000}

e. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
f. Nurseries and plant gardens.
2.3 LOT AREA R~' O,UIRrD:
~.4inimusn required area of a lot per dwelling unit shall be
not less than eight thousand one hundred twenty-Five

~ Minimum lot width shall be not less than sia~ty-five (&5) feet.
2.5 FRONT YARD ~ QUIR~'D:
Minimum front yard shall be fifty (5Q} feet from -the
centerline of the road, except where the road is classified
by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, the minimum
building setback requirement shall be fifty-five i'eet from
the centerline of the road.
2.6 STD YARD RF QUIR~;D:
Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) feet.
S~:CTION 3. All uses of land not specifically authorized and
:permitted under Section 2 are prohibited within the district.
SECTION ¢. In compliance ~*rith the provisions of the Zoni.n;
Fnablin; Ordi Hance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance
in full . .
Si~~CTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided. in the Zoning

8 ;date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen ~1~~ days after
7 -its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the manes of the
8 mer~bexs'of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it in the

lp of Butte, State of California.
