HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-183 c r r i r s e���nl���//,rH,✓, ,,,,,�, �� , ,,r//a/IJ/�ii////1F i�,/�/iJ�//,,/J�i�;Zf/�tl���r/�f aft,///ii'�r�//���i�%l,�/����1 Resolution No. 7-183 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FETE SCHEDULE FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR AGRICULTURE, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES- BUILDING, FIRE DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC HEALTH—ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by resolution on March 24, 2009 and has amended the Fee Schedule over time; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Constitution and the laws of the State of California, the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such service, and WHEREAS, the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency of the fee process; and WHEREAS, the Agriculture Department requests to amend two fees in their Weights and Measures Division; and WHEREAS, the Development Services — Building Division uncovered errors made to their fees during the implementation of the updates approved on June 1 , 2017 and requests corrections; and WHEREAS, the Fire Department's fee for Pre-Inspection for Residential Building Permits was inaccurately calculated at an hourly rate, instead of a flat rate and requests a correction; and WHEREAS, the Public Health — Environmental Services Division received feedback from community event organizers regarding their Temporary Food Facility Permit fees and requests to restructure the fees and to phase fee increases in over a five year period; and WHEREAS, the Treasurer-Tax Collector wishes to charge a fee for the recording of a reconveyance after a HUD loan payoff has been completed, per Civil, Code Section 2941.; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this resolution to allow consideration of the proposed fee adjustments prior to adoption of this resolution; and WHEREAS, non-land use related fees shall be effective at least 30 days after adoption and land-use related fees shall be effective at least 60 days after date of adoption; and WHEREAS,the Board of Supervisors desires to adjust current fees and implement new fees, NOW,THEREFORE, BE |TRESOLVED that the Board ofSupervisors ofthe County ofButte adopt fees as delineated inExhibit Aand amends the Butte County Master Fee Schedule toreflect the changes. Fee adjustments for Agriculture, Public Health,—Environmental Health,and Treasurer-Tax Collector shall become effective December I, ZQ17and fee adjustments for Development Services—Building Division and Fire Department shall become effective January 9�, I818.
