RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
17-94123,
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health requires authorization from,the Butte County
Board) of Supervisors to enter into the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Substance Abuse
Prevention and Treatment Block Grants agreement for FY 2017-18 through FY 2019-20; and
WHEREAS, the DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize Dorian Kittrell,
Director, Butte County Behavioral Health to sign the agreement and all amendments for FY 201.7-18 through FY
201'9-20,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health is
authorized) by the Board of Supervisors to accept this agreement with the DHCS for a multi-year total of
$4,907,331 and to accept above described provisions of this agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of December, 2017, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Wahl, Lambert, Teeter, and Vice-Chair Kirk
NOES: None
ABSENT:.Supervisor Connelly
