Resolution No. 17-200
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM MILLER FAMILY FOUNDATION
TO BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH'S
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Government Code section 25355, the Board of Supervisors is
authorized to accept any gift made to the County; and
WHEREAS, the Miller Family Foundation wishes to donate funds to the Butte County Department of
Behavioral Health's Strengthening Families Program; and
WHEREAS, the Miller Family Foundation wishes to donate a total of$30,000 for FY 2017-16,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby accepts a total
of$30,000 in donations from the Miller Family Foundation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte Couinty Board of Supervisors this 12'day of December, 2017, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Wahl, Lambert, Teeter, and Vice-Chair Kirk
NOES None
ABSENT: Supervisor Connelly
NOT VOTING: None
