AN ORDII~TANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LZMZT ON CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
(Vehicle Code Section 22358}
1' ' The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
2 does ordain as follows:
3 Section l: Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an
4engineering and traffic survey, the Butte County highways hereinafter described
5. '`'come within the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State
6 `of California, in that a speed limit of fifty-five (55} miles per hour is more
7` '`than is reasonable and safe on said highways and determined and declares a
8` €prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highways as follows:
9 That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five {35} miles per hour
10 is hereby determined, declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 35 MILES
11 signs be placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter-descriied county
12: highways, to wit:

14 FEATHER AVENUE from loth Street to l8th Street

15` s Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
16` '-are hereby repealed.
17' Section 3: The several features, parts, provisions, sections and

19 the invalidity, if any, of any feature, part, provisions, section or term
20` €thereof, shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance, nor render the
