The Board of Administration, Public EYanloyees' Retirement System, hereinafter
referred to as Board and the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COEJNTY OF BUTTE, herein-
after referred to as Public Agency, havir~ entered into a contract under date of
February 257 193, effective April 1, 19+5, as amended effective October ~., 1g4~7,
Decamber 1, 1951, July 1, 1956, November 1, 1956, November 1, 2959, September 8,
1950,'Octobe~° 1, 1960, October 1, 1951, September lb! 195, October 1, 196$,
August 25, 1973: October ~., 19'3, November l4 197, January 2~F, .l9?b, and
April 14, 1976 which provide for participation of Public Agency in said
System, Board .and Public Agency hereby agree as £allows: .

The Board of Administration, Public Lfiaployees' Retirement System, hereinafter
referxed to as Board and the BOARD OF SUPII2VISORS of. the COUNTY OF BUTTE, herein.-
after,referred to as Public Agency, having entered into a contract under date of
February 26, 1943, effective April 1, 1945, as amended effective October 1, 1947,
December 1, 1951, July ~,, 1956, November 1, 1956, November 1, 1959, September $,
1960, October ],, x.960, October 1, 1961, September l6, 1964, October ~.! 196$,
August 2S, 7.973, October 1, 1973, November 1, 19']4, Januat•y 24, . _196, anal
April l4, 197b, which pravzde for participation of Public Agency in said
System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows:
A. The following subparagraph shall be added to Paragraph ~ of said
contract:
5 (j} Section ?.x.222.6 of the Government Code (providing for 15 per
cent increases in allowances payable for time com~tencing on. the
first day of the calendar month coinciding with or next
following the effective date of this amendment or on account of
certain miscellaneous members retired or deceased-prior to -
July 1, Z9'Jl) .
B, Paragraph ~ (a) shall be stricken from said contract and the following.-
paragraph 7 (a} shall be substituted therefor:
'~ (a) With respect to local miscellaaeaus members, the Public Agency
sha.7.1 contribute the following percentages of monthly salaries
earned as local miscellaneous members of said System:.
(1} $.460 percent on account of the liability for current ser-
vice benefits.
C. This amendment shall be attached to said contract and shall become
effective on the 30th day of October 19 7&
