The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, DO ORDAIN, as fo13ows:
Section 7. Section 2-98 of Article XIiI of the Butte
County Cade is hereby deleted and replaced with the following:

quorum for conductin g the business of the Board o.f Zoning Adjust-
ment is a majority of the total membership and every action
taken shall have at least two affirmative votes.
Section 2. This urgency ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15} days after its passage shall be published once with the names
of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against
the same in the , a newspaper in
:general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California.
The facts constituting the urgency on which this ordinance is
based are:
1. The establishment by ordinance of a set time and
place for the Board of Zoning Adjustment to meet has created a
hardship on the Board in that all the members cannot meet at that
time. Having less than a full board hear applications for use perm
and variances will have an adverse effect on the health, welfare
and safety of the public.

Supervisors thi s 2nd day of November 1 976, by the
