HomeMy WebLinkAbout1767:j ORDINANCE N0. 1767 RN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CRLIFORNiA, AN "S-R-1" {SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL} DISTRICT 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State 2 of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte 3 County Code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: 4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is ~ hereby zoned as an "S-R-1" (Suburban-Residential) District for a 7 period of eight months, and such area shall be subject to the 8 restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter 9 spe~ci Pied end provided. to Said area so zoned being located in Paradise, more it .,particularly described as follows: 12 The SE 4 of the NEa of the P,E4 of Sec . 24, T22N, R3E, MDB&M {also} all of "Fernwaod Orchard Sub 13 Annex" per map of record in Map Book 18 on Pages 1 and 2 of the Butte County Recorder. 14 Containing 26 acres, more or less. 15 16 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "S-R-I" DISTRICT: 17 The following regulations shall apply in an "S-R-1" 18 District: 19 (A } USES PERMITTED: 20 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not including 21 tents, trailers or mobile homes. 22 2. (b) For each sheep or goat - twb thousand (2,000) sugare feet. 4. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shatl not be less than one acre, the provisions of Section 24-33 notwithstanding. 5, The minimum iot width shall not be less than one hundred thirty (130) feet, the provisions of Section 24-33 notwithstanding. (B} THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURIf~G A l7SE PERMIT IN EACH CRSE: 1. Goif courses and country clubs. 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, school: and public utility buildings. 3. Sales tract office. (G) THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY EXCEPTING LOT WIDTH AND LOT AREA. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Parad~.se Post a newspaper in general circulation in the Gounty of Butte, State of California. The fact constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are: 1. Ta prevent creation of smaller parcels which would further hamper access to an area already without safe access.
