HomeMy WebLinkAbout1777ORDINANCE NO. 1777 AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "SR-z" (SUBURBAN RESIpENTIAL -ONE-HALF ACRE PARCELS) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29. 1 2 3 4 S B 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 Z4 15' 16 ].7 i8 ~9 20 2I 22 23 24 25 28 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutte, State of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte County Code of said County DO~.~ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. In order to protect the integrity of thE~area; for the hereinafter described area, situated in the Caunty.of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "SR-l/2" {Suburban Residential - 1/2 acre parcels) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated urea of Butte County, Paradise, more particularly described as I follows: The SE4 of the NE4 of the NE4 of Sec. 24, T22N, R3E, MDB&M ,. and Ail of "Fernwood Orchard Sub Annex per Map of Record in Map Book 18 on Pages 1 and 2 of the Butte Gounty Recorder. Containing 30 acres, more or less. SEGTION 2: REGULATIONS FOR AN "SR-2" DISTRICT: The following regu]ations shall apply in an "SR-2" District: (A) USES PERMITTED: 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not including tents, trailers or mobile homes. ~ 2, Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 3. ' (a) For each horse or head of cattle or swine I' over one year of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet. {b} For each sheep or goat - two thousand (2,ODD) square feet. 4. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall not be less than one-half acre. (B~ THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE: 1. Golf courses and country clubs. 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schaol5 and public utility buildings. 3. Sales tract office. (C} THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY EXCEPTING LOT AREA. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION ~. in compliance with the provisions of said Butte Ca~unty Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. County Cade, Chapter 24. SECTION b. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect-from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervi cars voting for and ago i nst i t i n the Paradise Post a newspaper published in the County of Butte, ', State of California.
