The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO .ORDAIN, as_.fo.llows:._

Section 1. That Section 20-6.5 is hereby added to Chapter
20 of the Butte County Code to read as follows:
Section 20-6,5. Notwithstanding anything in
this chapter to the contrary, Sections 20-74, 20-75, 2D-76,
20-77, 20-7$, 20-79, 20-80, 20-81, 20-$2, 20-83, 20-84, 20--85,
20-86, 20-87, 20-88 and 20-89 shall not become effective until
~ the recreational element of the Butte Gounty General Plan has
~ been amended.
Section 2. This urgency ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
{l5) days after its passage shall be published once with the
names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and
against the same in the Oroville Mercury a newspaper
in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California.
The facts constituting the urgency on which this ordinance is
based are:
1. The formulas for dedication of park land and/or in
lieu fees as contained in Chapter 20, do not comply with the
present recreational element o.f the Butte Gounty General Plan. If
such provisions were in force, it would create a hardship to
applicants for either parcel maps or subdivision maps in that
the dedication requirements would not meet the requirements of the
present recreational element of the Butte County General Plan, and

therefore, the applications could not be approved.
