AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1722 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte, State of California
DO ORDAIN, As ~OLLOws:
Section I that Section No. 2$ of Ordinance No, 1722 of the County
of Butte entitled DISTRICT ATTORNEY & PUBLIC ADMINISTRATOR 320-002 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
3 Attorney I, IX, III, IV
4 Legal Stenographer Clerk ox Stenographer
Clerk I, ZI
and adding thereto the following:
4 Attorney I, II, III, IV
5 Legal Stenographer Clerk ax' Stenographer
Clerk I, II
thereby changing the total from 15 1/2 to 17 1/2
Section 2 that Section Noo 29A of Ordinance Noo 1722 is hereby
amended by changing the title of this section from REAL ESTATE FRAUD UNIT
{PROJECT) 320-004 to .the CONSUMER PROTECTION UNIT {PROJECT) 320-0040
Section 3 that Section Noo 40 of Ordinance No, 1722 of the
County of Butte entitled PROBATION 430-001 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following:

This ordinance shall take effect on February 5, 1977 which is
beyond 30 days after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration
of fifteen (l5) days after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper
published in the County of Butte, State of Californian
Passed and Adapted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte this 4th day of January,-197'1 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Lemke, Madigan, Winston, and Chairman Richter
NOES: Supervisor Moseley
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTTNG: None
