RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
CRISIS COUNSELING ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING PROGRAM (CCP)GRANT

WHEREAS, the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires authorization from the Butte
County Boardof Supervisors to enter into the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Crisis Counseling
Assistance and Training Program (CCP) Grant agreement for FY 7017-18; and
WHEREAS, Butte County was severely impacted in 7017 by several wildfires; and
WHEREAS, DHCS has contracted with Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)for disaster relief funding
under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Assistance Act of 1976 (Stafford Act) in order to provide
support to disaster affected counties; and
WHEREAS, DHCS shall provide funding to Butte County through BCDBH for the CCP; and
WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize the CCP agreement for FY 2017-18.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that BCDBH is authorized by the Board of Supervisors to accept this
agreement with DHCS for a total of$300,751.24 and to accept above described provisions of this agreement.

vote:.
