RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR
THE ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES,AGREEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENTS,AND PERMITS TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS FOR OWNERS BENEFIT FOR THE MIDWAY
ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT ACROSS BUTTE CREEK AND BUTTE CREEK OVERFLOW, STATE BRIDGE NO. 12C-
0052 &12C-00153, FEDERAL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT BRL'S-5912(085)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project agreement with Caltrans and the
Federal Highway Administration to participate in the Highway Bridge Program (HBP) for the construction of the Midway
Road Bridge across Butte Creek and Butte Creek Overflow; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights-of-way and easements
necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all rights-of-way and easement acquisitions necessary to deliver
the right-of-way certification to Caltrans.
NO'IAi', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to negotiate and sign
agreements for Acquisition of Real Property for Read Purposes, agreements for Temporary Construction Easements, and
Permit to Enter and Construct Improvements for Owners Benefit for the Midway Road Bridge across Butte Creek and Butte
Creek. Overflow, State Bridge No. 12C-0052 & 12C-0053, Federal Bridge Replacement Project BRLS-5'912(085) and
complete the delivery of the right-of-way certification to Caltrans.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of January, 2018, by the following
vote:.
