HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-010 Nor n� :SY�� ���r yv� Resolution No. 18-010 RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF SCOT L.,JOHNSON UPONRETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS,COUNTY OF BUTTE WHEREAS, Scat Johnson, Code Enforcement Officer for the Department of Public Works, announced his retirement as of December 29, 2017;. . and WHEREAS,Scat Johnson began his career with the County of Butte in 1989,as the very first Rabies Control Officer with Animal Control; and WHEREAS, Scot Johnson promoted to the position of Code Enforcement Officer with the Department of Development Services, later transferring in that same position to the Department of Public Work where he was responsible for grant work and code enforcement of illegal dumping in the County's rights of way; and WHEREAS, Scot Johnson has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors, contractors, local residents, and others involved in Public Warks activities in Butte County, and' has diligently served the residents of the County of Butte for 28 years; and WHEREAS,Scot Johnson plans to one day leave the State to breed horses and have fun. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors, on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte,wish to express to Scot Johnson sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement.
