Resolution No. 18-035
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A MAXIMUM SPEED POSTING FOR THE BRIDGE ON
OREGON GULCH ROAD CROSSING OREGON GULCH CREEK, 12C-0181
WHEREAS, Butte County may, in the manner determinedin Section 22404 of the California Vehicle Cede,
determine the maximum speed, not less than of 5 miles per hour, which can be maintained with safety to any bridge,
tube, or tunnel under its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, an engineering investigation has been accomplished by the State of California, Department of
Transportation (Caltrans); and
WHEREAS, bridge number 12C-0181, Oregon Gulch Road crossing Oregon Gulch Creek,, has been appropriately
noticed regarding the proposed maximum speed posting and date and time of public hearing to be held; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed maximum speed
posting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the maximum load posting,
for bridge number 12C-0181, Oregon Gulch Road crossing Oregon Gulch Creek, is hereby approved and said bridge shall
be posted as follows:
5 MPH ON BRIDGE
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to
execute the adoption of the maximum load posting for bridge number 12C-0181 on behalf of the County.

following vote:
