Resolution No. 18-047
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY CLOSURES ON EASTER SUNDAY,APRIL 1, 2018
WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2.1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution,
specify those hours during which individual departments will be open to the public; and
WHEREAS, based on past experience, the Library would serve very few customers on Easter Sunday;
therefore,the Library requests permission to close branches on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that Butte County
Library branches shall be closed on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 27th day of March, 2018,. by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
NOES None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
