RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVENUE AGREEMENT
WITH THE CALIFORNIA VICTIM COMPENSATION BOARD
(CaIVCB) (AGREEMENT NUMBER VCGC8045)
WHEREAS,the Butte County Board of Supervisors has previously entered into an agreement with the State of
California Victim Compensation Board for funding to Process applications and claims for unreimbursed losses to
victims of crime,and desire to renew the agreement;and
WHEREAS,the California Victim Compensation Board has authorized revenue in the total amount$630,420,for
the term of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 20,21, to be allocated at $210,140 for fiscal year 2018-2010, $210,140 for
fiscal year 2019-2020, and $210,140 for fiscal year 2020-2021, for services, including data entry, verification and
adjudication of claims forthe unreimbursed financial losses of victim of crime; and
WHEREAS,the California Victim Compensation Board requires the local governing bodyto authorize execution
oftheagreementand related documents.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the Butte
County District Attorney to enter into the agreement with the California Victim Compensation Board, and further
authorizes the District Attorney to execute the agreement,certifications,and other documents required by the terms
of the agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this 8th day of May, 2018, by the
following vote:
