ACTION 1: ]xz accord with Vehicle Code Section 35712, comu~ercial vehicles exceeding a gross weight of 11~.,DOQ lbs. ase hereby prohibited from using the follawi.ng County highway, to wit: On Tr~yandotte Avenue, from its intersection with Lower ~yandatte Avenue Ito its intersection with Myers Street SECTION 2: That appropriate signs shall be erected indicating the highway affected by this ordinance, it being deter~.ned that such signing will best serve to give notice of this ordinance. ACTION 3: This ordinance sha11 take effect immediately and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it sha11 be published once Ynri.th the names of the members voting for and against the same once in a local newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California. This ordinance is passed for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety in that the road covered herein wi11 be damaged by vehicles exceeding in gross weight of 14.,000 pounds, that the road cannot sustain vehicles of said weight and that if vehicles of said weight are not prohibited from said road the public safety will be endangered because of probable accidents with re-- sul.ting personal injury.
