Resolution No. 18-105
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC SERVICE HOURS FOR THE BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY
WHEREAS, Butte County Code section 2.1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, specify
those hours during which individual departments will be open to the public; and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 2018-1.9 Recommended Budget included the reduction of extra help hours,
impacting public service hours in five out of six branch libraries; and
WHEREAS, Library Administration has made adjustments to public service hours in branch libraries to operate
within the budget; and
WHEREAS,the public service hours at the Biggs Branch Library will remain unchanged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes the Butte
County Library Branch Hours as follows, effective July 25, 2018:
Biggs Branch Gridley Branch
Tuesday noon—6 pm Tuesday noon—6 pm
Saturday 10 am—4 pm Wednesday noon—6 pm
Thursday 10 am—4 pm
Friday 10 am—4 pm
Chico Branch Saturday 10 am 4 pm
Tuesday 10 am—6 pm
Wednesday 10 am—6 pm
Thursday 10 am—6 pm Oroville Branch
Friday 10 am—5 pm Tuesday 10 am—5 pm
