ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTICtN OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "S-R" {SUBURBAN-RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State 2 of California,, under and.pprsuant_ to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte 3 County Code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: 4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is 6 hereby zoned as an 'S-R" (Suburban-Residential) District for a 7 period of 120 days, and such area shall be subject to the restric-- 8 bons and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified 9 and nravi ded. REGULATIONS FOR AN "5-R" DISTRICT. The following regulations shall apply in an "S-R" -__. - District. (A} USES PERMITTED: 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel; not including tents or mobile homes. 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses , (B) AGRICULTURRL USES, EXCEPT LIVESTOCK, SUBJECT TO THE FOLLO~IING REQUIREMENTS: 1. Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential use, the following lot or parcel areas shall be required for each animal raised or kept on the premises:i (a} For each horse or head of cattle over one xear of age, one (l} acre. {b} For each head of swine over ten weeks of age, one (1} acre, (c} For each head of sheep or goats, one (1} acre for the first head and one half {l/2} acre for each head thereafter. (C} THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EAC~t CASE: 1. Sales tract office. (D) THE PROVi5IONS OF SECTION 2~-33 SHALL APPLY. ___ _ _.. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte County Code, Chapter 24. SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same i n the Chico Enterprise Record a newspaper i n general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California.
