Resolution No. 18-1,48
DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTETION GRANT AWARD UNDER VOLUNTARY FIRE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Butte County Fire Department County of Butte, State of California, Resolution Number: 1 -143
Approving the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Agreement # 7FG18013 for services from the date of last
signatory on page 6 of the Agreement to June 30, 2019 under the Volunteer Fire Assistance Program of the Cooperative
Forestry Assistance Act of 71978; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Butte County Fire Department, that said Board does hereby approve
the Agreement with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection dated as of the last signatory date on page
6 of the Agreement, and any amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, this Agreement provides for an award, during the term of this agreement, under the Volunteer Fire
Assistance Program of the Cooperative Fire Assistance Act of 1978. during the State Fiscal Year 2018-19 up to and no more
than the amount of$19,9196.50 and;
WHEREAS, that Chairperson of said Board be and hereby is authorized to sign and execute said Resolution on
behalf of the Butte County Fire Department; and
WHEREAS,the Grant requires the person signing the Resolution to authorize the County Administrative Officer to
sign the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte Couinty Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the County
Administrative Officer of Butte County to sign and execute said Agreement and any amendments on behalf of the Butte
County Fire Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 25"' day of September, 2018, by the
following vote:
